We start every transmission complaint with a scan, a fluid inspection, and a road test, then tell you plainly which bucket you're in: a service, a repair, or a replacement. About a third of the 'failing transmissions' that come through our door leave with a fluid exchange and a software update.

Fair questions
My car has 'lifetime' fluid. Does it really never need service?
'Lifetime' means the lifetime of the fluid, and heat shortens it. On most automatics we recommend an exchange every 60k miles, sooner if you tow. It's the cheapest insurance a transmission can buy.
Do you rebuild in-house?
Common units, yes. For others we use a remanufactured unit with a nationwide warranty and we do the install and programming here. We'll tell you which path is smarter for your car and budget.
